Flipsnack offers multiple pricing plans tailored for individuals, teams, and businesses of all sizes. Each plan includes a different set of features, from basic publishing tools to advanced branding, automation, and collaboration capabilities. This guide helps you understand what each plan includes, how much it costs, and which plan is best for your needs.

Whether you're just starting out or looking for a solution for your entire organization, there's a plan that fits your goals.

Premium trial

Our free 14-day trial is ideal for testing out Flipsnack before committing to a subscription. It is a premium trial, but it has some limitations, and the most important ones are: 

  • Your flipbooks are limited to 100 pages. 
  • You won’t be able to download your flipbooks as PDF, JPG, PNG, GIF, MP4, or HTML5;
  • You won’t be able to upload your custom videos.
  • You won’t be able to embed iframes in your flipbooks (virtual tours, maps, surveys, and more);
  • You won’t be able to add Pop-up frames (insert custom code in pop-ups).
  • You won't be able to manage multiple teams, brands, and workspaces.

The premium trial includes a limited version of the shopping list feature. However, you can upgrade to the full version by asking our support team about a premium plan.

Free plan

After your Premium trial ends, you’ll have the option to either upgrade to a paid plan or continue using Flipsnack for free, which allows you to explore the basic features of Flipsnack at no cost. 

Here’s what you can do if you decide to remain on the free plan:

  • Upload PDFs and automatically turn them into digital flipbooks; files can be up to 100 MB.

  • Edit PDF after upload. Edit text, shapes, and images in your PDF (Beta).

  • Create up to 3 flipbooks, each with a maximum of 30 pages.

  • Embed your flipbooks on your website or blog.

  • Share your flipbooks publicly using a direct link.

  • Use the modern flipbook reader, which includes a single-page view and right-to-left orientation.

  • Preserve customization settings when editing your flipbook.

  • Save flipbooks as templates for later use.

  • Auto-detect links from your original PDF files.

  • Enjoy editable, crystal-clear text through our vectorial text technology.

Not included in the Free plan:

  • Downloads in any format (PDF, JPG, etc.)

  • Private or password-protected sharing

  • Analytics or performance tracking

  • AI tools, catalog automation, or integrations

  • Workspace management and branding features

Note: If you want to experience more advanced features like AI tools, catalog automation, analytics, downloads, and privacy controls, you can upgrade to a paid plan at any time.

Starter

Why choose this plan? The Starter plan is a great entry point for individuals or small teams who need core publishing features without the complexity. It's ideal if you're looking to publish a few interactive flipbooks with essential customization and download options.

Best for: Individual users or small businesses needing basic functionality.
Cost: $35/month, billed monthly, or $192/year, billed once (equivalent to $16/month when divided)
Key features:

  • Up to 5 flipbooks with 100 pages each.
  • Ability to add internal/external links
  • Download flipbooks in formats like PDF, PNG, JPG, GIF, and MP4 download.
  • Basic customization and sharing options like unlisted publications and social media buttons.
  • Embed flipbooks on your website, but with Flipsnack's watermark.
  • Folders and labels.

Professional

The Professional subscription was specifically thought out for mastering publishing interactive catalogs with some cool extra features designed to meet your needs: all-time analytics and a plethora of interactions that you can use to offer an engaging reading and shopping experience for your audience.

Best for: Users looking for enhanced interactivity and analytics for publishing and engaging readers.

Cost: $52/month, billed monthly, or $456/year, billed once (equivalent to $38/month when divided).

Why choose this plan? The Business subscription is tailored specifically for brands. This plan encompasses all the features of the Professional subscription, while also providing additional interactive elements, comprehensive branding options, and advanced interactive download features.

Key differences between Monthly and Yearly plans

All Flipsnack plans offer the option to subscribe monthly or annually. By opting for an annual subscription, you typically save a significant amount compared to monthly payments. The yearly subscription is a cost-effective choice for long-term users who need uninterrupted access to features and tools.

These plans provide flexibility depending on your needs, whether you're an individual looking to share a few flipbooks or a large organization managing complex publications with advanced branding and e-commerce functionalities. All subscriptions are set to auto-renew by default, ensuring continuous access without interruption.

Annual subscriptions save up to 20% compared to monthly billing. If you don't want your subscription to renew, cancel the auto-renewal at least 48 hours before the renewal date. All prices are shown in USD, and the final charged amount may vary slightly due to bank exchange rates or fees.

Student

Besides our regular premium plan, we also have a special plan for students.

Why choose this plan? Tailored for students, it offers essential tools for school projects and presentations at an affordable rate. It’s perfect for creating visually engaging flipbooks using built-in design assets and sharing them with classmates or teachers.

Cost: $12/year

Key features:

  • Create flipbooks from scratch and save them as templates (up to 10 flipbooks, each with 100 pages) - you will not be able to upload PDFs with this plan.
  • Access our extensive photo and video library in the Design Studio;
  • Add internal and external links, as well as social media buttons;
  • Set the flipbook in single-page view, which is perfect for presentations;
  • Download the flipbook as a PDF, JPG, PNG, GIF, or MP4 file;
  • Share the flipbook via link, email, social media, or as a QR code;
  • Access to live chat support.

Classroom

Why choose this plan? Designed for teachers in educational institutions, the Classroom plan supports student collaboration in a secure environment. With space for up to 30 users and educational publishing features, it supports digital creativity and structured learning.

The Classroom plan can be used to acquire creative skills and encourage research and study, which are part of the instructional functions performed by educational institutions. 

Cost: $260/year

Key features: 

  • Up to 30 users;
  • Up to 150 flipbooks in your account.
  • Up to 30 pages/publication;
  • Upload and merge more PDFs into  one flipbook.
  • Add your brand kit (fonts, colors, logos, typography);
  • Embed flipbooks on your website.
  • Publish unlisted;
  • Search in flipbooks;

Payment methods

Flipsnack accepts card payments for its plans: American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa. New subscriptions are paid by card, processed securely through Stripe. PayPal is supported only for workspaces that previously used it as a payment method.

For yearly Enterprise subscriptions, alternative payment methods such as ACH, wire transfer, or company check are also available. To arrange one of these, contact our sales team.

You can add a new payment method at any time from your account image > Settings > Billing > Add payment method, and set it as the default. For detailed steps, see How to update your payment information.

Frequently asked questions

How do I upgrade my plan?

From your main dashboard, click the Upgrade button, choose the plan that fits your needs, select monthly or annual billing, and complete the checkout. You can find detailed steps in How to purchase or upgrade your Flipsnack plan.

Are there promo codes or special discounts available?

There are no public promo codes or additional promotions currently available beyond the published prices — choosing annual billing is the way to get the best published price. If a promo code was mentioned elsewhere or you believe a special offer applies to you, reach out via live chat, tell the agent which plan you are interested in, and our support team can check and apply any valid promotion or present the best available offer for that plan.

Can I buy AI credits separately?

No. Access to premium features and extra AI credits is provided through monthly or annual subscriptions, and there are no one-time credit pack purchases. If you only need short-term access, you can purchase a one-month subscription and cancel it before the next billing cycle to avoid additional charges.

What happens if I reach the flipbook limit on my plan?

You can delete old flipbooks to free up space or upgrade to a higher plan.

Can I reactivate an older (legacy) subscription?

No. If an older (legacy) subscription is interrupted because of a failed payment or a canceled auto-renewal, it cannot be reactivated.
