How to use my own templates?

You can save anything self-created as a template for later use

If you've designed a layout or flipbook in Flipsnack that you'd like to reuse in future projects, you can save it as a personal template. This allows you to maintain brand consistency and speed up your design process. You can access your saved templates in two ways: when starting a new project or while editing an existing flipbook inside Design Studio.

Then, in Design Studio you can customize the template with your content, images, and branding. Once finished, save and publish your flipbook.

For detailed instructions and tips on utilizing templates effectively, refer to the guide on Flipsnack's website: My templates.

You now have two options for using your template:

  • Apply a full template to the current page: Click on a template to automatically replace the content of the current page blank page.

Note: When applying a multi-page template between existing pages, make sure there’s enough space to insert all its pages. For example, if your template has 10 pages, all 10 will be added in sequence after the selected page.

  • Drag and drop individual pages: You can also hover over the template, click the expand icon to preview its pages, and then drag a specific page from the template into your flipbook. Drop it onto an existing page to overwrite it, or between pages to insert it without replacing anything.
