How to send Flipsnack orders to Shopify via Zapier

Overview

When someone orders from a shopping list in your flipbook, Zapier creates the matching order in Shopify. No manual entry.

Requirements

  • Business plan or higher for Zapier access
  • A published flipbook with a shopping list
  • Admin access to your Shopify store and the Zapier App

Step 1: Set the Flipsnack trigger

Connecting Flipsnack to Zapier is the same for every automation, so follow our Zapier setup guide.

For the Event, pick New Shopping List Order.

Step 2: Add the Shopify action

1. Choose Shopify as the Action app.

2. Pick Create Draft Order.

3. Log in and authorize Zapier.

Tip: Start with Create Draft Order so you can fix any product or SKU mismatch before the order is final. Switch to Create Order once a few come through cleanly.

Step 3: Map the fields and test

1. Map the customer email, item, quantity, and price to the matching Shopify fields.

2. Click Test step and check the order appears in Shopify.

3. Click Publish.

Troubleshooting

Trigger test finds no data: place one order from the flipbook first. Zapier tests against real orders.

Orders are not reaching Shopify: check the flipbook products exist in your Shopify catalog.

Wrong items on the order: your flipbook product names or SKUs do not match Shopify. Use Create Draft Order and match them manually.

Frequently asked questions

Will this create duplicate orders? No, one submission means one order.
