Downgrading from Premium to Free: What to expect

Discover what happens if you cancel or do not renew your premium subscription

The 21-day grace period

  • Premium flipbooks remain premium
When you downgrade from a premium account to a free one, all your existing flipbooks keep their premium features for a 21-day grace period.
  • Account status during grace
Your account switches to free, but your publications still display all premium interactions without watermarks. You can view and manage your account settings as usual.
  • Limited creation & editing
While your existing flipbooks remain premium during this time, you cannot create new publications or add/edit premium features.

After the grace period

  • Account freeze
Once the 21-day grace period ends, your account will be frozen. You will lose editing access to your flipbooks, and any shared flipbooks will no longer be visible.
  • Restoring access
If you upgrade back to a premium subscription at any point during the 21-day grace period or within 12 months of your original subscription ending, your account will be fully restored with all premium features.

Storage and deletion timeline

  • 12-month storage
Your creations stay securely stored in your account for up to 12 months, giving you ample time to consider which plan suits your needs best.
  • Permanent deletion
After 12 months without an active subscription, your account and all associated content will be permanently deleted.

Any downloaded HTML5 catalog (used offline or self-hosted) is not subject to these grace period restrictions. If you have already saved an HTML5 catalog to your computer, you can continue using it without limitations.
