Overview
Flipsnack does not include a built-in digital sign-off or recipient approval feature, so readers cannot legally e-sign a flipbook or formally approve it inside the player. If you need legally binding signatures, use a dedicated e-signature service and link to it from your flipbook.
That said, there are practical ways to display a signature visually and to run an internal review before publishing, described below.
Add a visual signature to a flipbook
To show a signature on a page, add it as an image:
- Prepare your signature as a PNG or JPEG image. A PNG with a transparent background looks best on any page design.
- Open your flipbook in the Design Studio.
- Upload the signature image via the Uploads section.
- Drag the image onto the page and position it where the signature should appear.
- Save and republish the flipbook to make it live.
Review and approval options
While there is no formal approval workflow, you can organize reviews with the tools Flipsnack already provides:
- Use comments in the Design Studio so teammates can leave feedback directly on the design before it goes live.
- Keep the flipbook as a draft, or share it privately with the stakeholders who need to review it, and publish only after everyone has signed off outside the platform.
Frequently asked questions
Can readers sign or approve a flipbook inside the player?
No. There is no recipient sign-off feature. Use an external e-signature service if you need a legally binding signature, and link to it from the flipbook.
Can I collect reader information instead?
Yes. A lead form can gather names, emails, and other details from readers before or while they view your flipbook. It records information but is not a signature.
Does Flipsnack sign NDAs?
