Does Flipsnack draw resources from my servers?
Flipsnack runs completely on our servers. Embedding or sharing flipbooks does not place any load on your servers, unless you explicitly set up an integration.
How it works
-
All flipbooks are hosted and served from Flipsnack’s servers.
-
When someone opens your flipbook (either via a direct link or embedded on your site), the content is loaded from Flipsnack, not from your infrastructure.
What about embedded flipbooks?
When you embed a flipbook on your website, your site simply displays it — very similar to how an embedded YouTube video works.
-
The file is still stored and served entirely by Flipsnack.
-
There’s no server resource draw or performance impact on your hosting.
Exceptions
The only case where Flipsnack may interact with your systems is if you set up a specific integration (e.g., API connection, Single Sign-On, CRM integration). In those cases, the connection is intentional and secure.
