Tips for best results

Because Flipsnack's AI generator relies on a single text input rather than a continuous chat, your prompt needs to contain all the necessary details upfront. Writing a good prompt is like giving instructions to an illustrator: the clearer you are, the better the final image will be.

Here are the best practices for writing prompts that get the job done on the first try:

1. Use the "Core Formula"

For the most consistent results, build your prompt using these core elements: Subject + Setting + Style + Lighting & Details

  • Weak prompt: "An office."
  • Strong prompt: "A modern corporate office workspace (Subject) with large glass windows overlooking a city (Setting), hyper-realistic photography (Style), natural sunlight, 8K resolution, sharp focus (Lighting & Details)."

2. Be specific, not conversational

Avoid using conversational filler like "Can you please draw me an image of..." or "I would like to see...". The AI responds best to direct, descriptive keywords separated by commas. Treat it like a highly specific search engine.

3. Define the style and medium

Always tell the AI what type of image you want. If you don't specify, the AI will guess. Common B2B styles include:

  • Candid photograph: Great for realistic office, lifestyle, or meeting shots.
  • Product photography: Perfect for clean, catalog-ready product mockups.
  • 3D render / Isometric: Excellent for modern tech brochures or playful icons.
  • Flat vector illustration: Ideal for clean, corporate training materials.

4. Know when to use "Quality" vs. "Fast"

  • Use Quality (OpenAI): When you need photorealistic human faces, highly complex architectural scenes, or precise details in a professional setting.
  • Use Fast (NanoBanana): When you need quick iterations, vibrant abstract backgrounds, stylized 3D objects, or artistic illustrations.

5. Real-world B2B prompt templates

Feel free to copy and adapt these advanced prompt structures for your own publications:

  • For a product catalog: "Product photography of [insert product, e.g., a leather briefcase] resting on a minimal marble podium, soft studio lighting, clean white background, high resolution, photorealistic, sharp focus."
  • For an internal HR newsletter: "A candid photograph of diverse colleagues smiling and collaborating around a modern meeting table, bright natural daylight, optimistic corporate environment, 8k resolution, cinematic lighting."
  • For real estate / architectural pitches: "Hyper-realistic interior photography of a modern urban apartment living room, minimalist furniture, large windows, natural sunlight, depth of field."
  • For tech / software brochures: "Abstract 3D digital network lines glowing in blue and silver over a dark background, futuristic, volumetric lighting, high contrast."

Troubleshooting

1. AI image generation is unavailable

Check that:

2. My generated image does not match what I expected

Try:

  • Adding more detail to your prompt
  • Specifying lighting, colors, or composition
  • Generating another variation
  • Switching between medium and high quality

More descriptive prompts generally produce better results.

3. I cannot add the generated image to my flipbook

Make sure:

  • The image generation process is complete
  • Your internet connection is stable
  • The generated image finished loading properly

If the issue persists, refresh the editor and try again.
