The Workspace Manager role is a free admin role available for Enterprise users - designed to help large organisations delegate workspace-level management tasks without granting access to sensitive content or billing settings.

Requirements
- Available for free (on request) with the Enterprise plan.
- Admin access required to assign roles.
- Enabled manually per workspace; with a max number of 5 Workspace Managers.
How to assign the Workspace Manager role
- Make sure your Enterprise workspace is selected.
- Go to Settings > Teammates in your workspace.
- In the Workspace Manager section, click Invite teammate.
- Enter the email address and select Workspace Manager as the role.
- Once the invitation is accepted, they’ll appear in the Workspace Manager table.
Caution: Once you reach the maximum number of assigned Workspace Managers, the role will appear as disabled. However, you can request additional free Workspace Manager seats at any time.
What a Workspace Manager can access
Workspace Managers have access to the following:
- Teammates and Readers management
- Groups
- SSO configuration
- Permission settings
- Teammate activity logs
- Workspace access across the organization

Troubleshooting
If the Workspace Manager can't access a child workspace directly, they must use the My Organization page for organization-level access.
