Flipsnack complements your LMS by helping you create interactive training materials such as handbooks, onboarding guides, product manuals, and internal documentation. You can enrich your content with videos, quizzes, forms, and links, then embed or share it inside your LMS.

Flipsnack is not a replacement for your LMS. Instead, it works alongside your existing system through embed codes, share links, or Zapier automation, making it easy to deliver interactive training content within your current learning environment.

How to embed Flipsnack into your LMS

Follow these steps to embed interactive training materials inside your LMS course.

Step 1: Open your flipbook

1. Log in to your Flipsnack account.

2. From the Homepage, locate your flipbook in the Flipbooks list.

3. Click the flipbook card to open the Details page.

Step 2: Access the Share modal

1. Click the Share button.

2. In the Share modal, select the Embed option.

Step 3: Copy the iframe code

1. Adjust the embed size if needed.

2. Click Copy code to copy the iframe embed code.

Step 4: Add the embed code to your LMS

1. Open your LMS.

2. Navigate to the course or lesson where you want to add the training material.

3. Add a new HTML block, custom content block, or iframe widget (depending on your LMS).

4. Paste the iframe code.

5. Save and publish the lesson.

Your interactive flipbook will now display directly inside your LMS course.

How to connect Flipsnack to your LMS using Zapier

Zapier is an automation tool that connects different applications without coding. You can use it to trigger actions between Flipsnack and other platforms connected to your LMS workflow.

Zapier does not sync course completion data directly into your LMS unless supported by the LMS and your connected apps. It is mainly used for notifications and data routing.

Step 1: Create a Zapier account

1. Follow the instructions here to connect Zapier. 

2. Go to zapier.com and log in or create an account.

3. Click Create Zap.

Step 2: Choose a trigger from Flipsnack

1. Select Flipsnack as the trigger app.

2. Choose a trigger event (for example, New flipbook published, Quiz or Form submission).

Step 3: Choose an action related to your LMS workflow

Select the app connected to your LMS or internal systems. Example workflows include:

• New flipbook published → Send email notification to LMS admin.

• Form submission in flipbook → Create user in connected HR system.

• Quiz submission → Send data to your LMS or reporting tool.

Step 4: Test and activate

1. Test the trigger and action.

2. Click Publish Zap to activate the automation.

This setup supports Zapier LMS automation for notifications and operational workflows, but not full LMS data synchronization.

Troubleshooting

The flipbook does not display inside the LMS

• Confirm that your LMS supports iframe embedding.

• Make sure the embed code was pasted in HTML mode, not text mode.

• Verify that the flipbook is published.

Learners see a blank or restricted message

• Check visibility settings. If set to Private, only specific readers with access can view it.

• Consider using Unlisted or Password locked visibility for internal training.

Tracking is not visible inside the LMS

• Engagement tracking occurs inside Flipsnack’s Statistics page.

• Flipsnack does not support SCORM packages.
